Rotary Evaporation by Buchi

The lab-scale Rotavapor® R-210/R-215 with an evaporation flask size from 50 ml up to 5'000 ml - built on unmatched technology.

Sealing System

The vapour ducting combines the advantages of previous Buchi systems. A continuous vapour duct prevents cross-contamination and is particularly easy to dismantle and clean. The vacuum seal comprises a PTFE composite material and provides long service life and effective sealing. The proven combi-clip elegantly solves the problem of simple flask removal and the dismantling of the vapour duct.

Large display

The difference between the Rotavapor R-215 and the R-210 is the additional display of the vapour temperature and the rotation speed: a valuable investment for processes that require precise monitoring and reproducibility!

Heating Bath B-491

For larger batch volumes such as in 5l evaporating flasks, as an option. The bath replenisment is included in the scope of supply to guarantee a steady water level in the bath. The heating bath designed for water covers a temperature range from 20-95°C. A large, clear graphic display continuously shows the actual temperature and the temperature setpoint. Thanks to the wireless power supply, it is not necessary to make or break connections when handling the bath. The high alloy steel pan is easy to clean. An optional protective shield can easily be fitted to the edge of the bath.

Heating Bath B-495

The heating bath, for water or oil, covers a wide temperature range from 20-180°C. A large, clear graphic display continuously shows the actual temperature and the temperature setpoint. Its small volume ensures that warm-up times are very quick. Thanks to the wireless power supply, it is not necessary to make or break connections when handling the bath. The high alloy steel pan is easy to clean. An optional protective shield can easily be fitted to the edge of the bath.

Easy handling

The electrical quick-action jack activated by simply pressing a button. In case of a main power failure, the evaporation flask is lifted automatically preventing high termal load of the substance

Vacuum Pump V-700 - the innovative way of vacuum genera

The Vacuum Pump V-700 is a chemically resistant and totally oil free PTFE diaphragm pump designed for the use with all gases and vapours typically associated with the laboratory.
With a flow rate of 1.8 cubic meter/h and an ultimate vacuum of below 10 mbar, it covers a wide range of classical laboratory applications and is optimally suited for work with a rotary evaporator. Other typical applications include the evacuation of drying ovens or vacuum centrifuges and the generation of vacuum for filtration purposes.
The Vacuum Pump V-700 can be ideally extended to a small laboratory system in a modular fashion. If secondary condenser, Vacuum Modules or professional Vacuum Controllers
